We’re pleased to let you know that our Project Vision document is now available to view online.
As you know, we are seeking to redevelop one of the last remaining large brownfield sites in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to create a new and enduring green neighbourhood – a place where people can thrive.
Our proposals are driven by an important set of Guiding Principles, which have influenced every decision we’ve made. These are:
Connect Harmoniously…with the existing character of the locality to create a development that is an authentic response to a rich and varied context.
Respond Generously…to the context, improving connections for new residents and for visitors from the surrounding area.
Positive Impact: Shape a development strategy that will have a positive impact in the short and long term.
Flourish: Create a masterplan that allows people to flourish with access to a rich mix of uses and opportunities and as such create a sustainable place for years to come.
Sustainable Principles: Adopt sustainable principles for design through all our endeavours, from urban design, through to the building fabric of the completed project.
In following these Guiding Principles, we hope to deliver a neighbourhood that feels relevant and familiar on a site that has been dominated by industrial use for almost 200 years – and has therefore been inhospitable for people, plants and wildlife.
